We're a vanilla-like Rust server for Linux / Steam Deck players as Facepunch currently has no intention to add EAC support, and there aren't many other servers that support Linux. We offer a multitude of modifications that improve the quality-of-life or make Rust more forgiving for the average casual or new player, while still maintaining the core gameplay loop of Rust.
We're community-centric and are very open with our decisions and the reasoning behind them. The players also get to participate in voting for polls and every step in map generation from size to banning monuments to the final map.

How to connect:
Start Rust and Connect (Rust must be closed, otherwise refer to the methods below.)
- Direct Connect (Recommended)
- Press F1 to open the Rust Console, then type in
connect protobit.space
- Press F1 to open the Rust Console, then type in
- Server List
- Open the Rust Server Browser and search for "Protobit". Do note that you may not be able to directly find it when it restarts or right after force wipe, and you may have to show empty servers during off-peak hours.
