Protobit Rust

play.protobit.space • Biweekly Map Wipes (BP Wipes @ Force) • 3x Stack / 25% upkeep

We're a lightly modded Rust server for Linux / Steam Deck players as Facepunch currently has no intention to add EAC support, and there aren't many other servers that support Linux or are professional.

We offer a multitude of modifications that make Rust more forgiving for the average casual or new player, while still mostly maintaining the core gameplay of Rust and preventing players from learning modded only habits.

How to connect:

Start Rust & Connect (Rust must be closed, otherwise refer to the methods below.)

  • Direct Connect (Recommended)
    • Press F1 to open the Rust Console, then type in "connect play.protobit.space"
  • Server List
    • Open the Rust Server Browser and search for "Protobit". Do note that you may not be able to directly find it when it restarts or right after force wipe, and you may have to show empty servers during off-peak hours.
