Multifox is an experimental project by the Protobit Operators, which is being used to test the scalable server software known as MultiPaper.

Our goal is to identify the possibility of using MultiPaper as the primary server software on future versions of Vanilla+.

Details

  • Server version is currently locked to 1.20.1
  • Various features are missing from Vanilla+
  • Players are granted additional permissions, such as Creative mode.

Client Modifications and Cheating

Players are permitted to use prohibited client modifications (such as cheat clients, x-ray, etc.) on Multifox. You are not allowed to have the client modifications enabled on other servers (such as Hub and Vanilla+).

The only exception is having the modifications installed while connecting to Hub (which you are expected to immediately connect to Multifox).

If you are found to use prohibited client modifications on other servers on Protobit, you will be punished as per usual.

Major Exploits

If you are found to be exploiting a major bug on Multifox, you will be punished. You are expected to report any major exploits that you find to a Protobit Operator privately. For more details, see Contact a Staff Member.

Affecting Production Servers

You are not allowed to cause extreme performance issues on Multifox to the point where it affects a production Protobit server (such as Vanilla+ and Hub). You are expected to be mindful of possibly affecting production servers while playing on Multifox.

If you are found to be affecting production servers, an Operator will instruct you to cease doing so. Punishments will be given if you fail to abide by the Operator's instructions.
