This page lists all Level 3 Infractions that may result in punishments on Protobit. This list is not conclusive, and may be updated at any time. You may want to read up on the Vocabulary that we use for punishments.

Inappropriate conduct.

User has extreme violations of rules regarding behavioural conduct.

Prohibited client modifications.

User is suspected to be using (or has previously used) prohibited client modifications. This is also commonly known as cheating or hacking.

Association with a known cheater.

User is a known associate with a cheater.

Exploiting / bug abuse.

User is exploiting features or mechanics to their advantage, or is abusing bugs with features or mechanics.

Intentional service disruption.

User is intentionally disrupting a Protobit service (e.g. causing lag).

Punishment evasion.

User has evaded a previously issued punishment.

Impersonation.

User is impersonating a Protobit staff member, or another person or entity (such as Facepunch, Steam, EAC, or a person).

Compromised account.

User is suspected of having their account compromised by a third-party entity.

This is a temporary punishment that can be lifted by an appeal once the user has proven to have regained complete control of all their accounts.

Pending account review.

This is a temporary punishment that is issued when a user needs to be removed from a situation. The user will receive a different punishment once a Protobit staff member assesses the situation.
