Users on Protobit are differenciated on Protobit with various roles.

Member

The default role granted to all users by default.

Users with this role have the following permissions:

The ability to utilize our front-facing services.
Communicating with other members.

The color assigned to this role is: #55aaff; it doesn't come with an icon or prefix by default.

Supporter

This role is currently not in service but is planned to be used in the future.

Granted to users that are currently actively pledging to Protobit.

Users with this role have the following permissions:

Everything from Member
Yellow Name
Discord Role
3 -> 30 Skin Sets
Renaming Items (Rust)
Extended In-Game Rust+ Functionality (Rust)
Market Orders (Rust)

Some extra benefits will be granted based on how many months total you have ever pledged for. (TODO: Rates to be finalized)

Milestone 1 (12 months)
- Custom Pastel Color
- One line on image
Milestone 2 (36 months)
- Custom Moody Color
- Two lines on image
Milestone 3 (108 months)
- Custom Bright Color
- Three lines on image

The color assigned to this role is: #ffeea4 by default, it can be adjusted depending on pledge level; The following image (TODO: To be improved) will be used wherever possible:

If showing an image is not possible, the [SP] prefix will be used instead.

Staff Member

The previous Helper and Moderator ranks from Vanilla+ have all been consolidated into Staff Member.

This role is currently granted to the following users:

Users with this role have the following permissions:

Everything from Supporter (Milestone 3)
The ability to execute punishments on players that violate our rules
Use additional tools to assist players for in-game actions.

Operator

This role is currently granted to the following users:
